Eric Gordon 3 Commando
Company Sergeant Major Eric Gordon was wounded 11 June 1944 (remaining on duty) during operations at Normandy, France.
He had been attached to No.3 Commando since at least March 1941 taking part in most of their operations including with 4 Troop during Operation Claymore, the Lofoten raid.
Post war member of the Commando Association residing Brighton who list his final rank attained as Regimental Sergeant Major.
