Colonel David Nicholls received the Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service in recognition of gallant and distinguished services in the former Republic of Yugoslavia during the period 1st June to 20th December 1995.
Internationally renowned climber and explorer. Founder of the South Georgia Heritage Trust and former Commander of the British Forces in the Falkland Islands (1999-2000).
