Major General David Hook RM
Brigadier David Hook was appointed C.B.E. (Military Division) in recognition of gallant and distinguished services in Afghanistan during the period 1st April 2009 to 30th September 2009 [1].
  • 3 October 2011 promoted Major General [2].
  • 4 October 2013 received the Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service in Afghanistan during the period 1 October 2012 to 31 March 2013 [3]. He headed up the Force Reintegration Cell in Afghanistan; a role that gave him the opportunity to interact closely with the Afghan government and bring partner nations together in the quest for peace in this war torn country [4].
  • 1st August 2014 to retired list [5].
