Private (Piper) David Finlay was wounded in Italy on 3 February 1944. His Commando were engaged in operations at Monte Ornito and Monte Faito, Italy. Member of the Commando Association from Cupar, Fife. Piper Finlay often played the Lament at the Commando Memorial Remembrance Service.
