Private Cyril Barrett was reported missing 19 August 1942 during operations at Dieppe, France, later confirmed killed in action. He has no known grave. Son of Joseph and Ann S. Barrett, of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire; husband of Margaret Barrett, of Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
