Lieutenant Clive Livingstone received a Mention in Despatches in recognition of gallant and distinguished service during the Falklands War [1]
Recommendation
From the early hours of Friday 28 May 1982 the 2nd Bn. The Parachute Regiment were engaged in fierce fighting through the day to take the Goose Green settlement on the island of East Falkland. 59 Commando Squadron Royal Engineers were in close support throughout the action.
During the battle Lieutenant Livingstone, Royal Engineers, showed considerable courage and resource in recovering several wounded men whilst under heavy enemy fire. His brave and unselfish conduct undoubtedly saved the lives of these men.
He is very strongly recommended for Mention in Despatches" [2].
