Private Angel Marino, a Spanish volunteer from Bilbao, was reported missing 2 June 1941 during operations in Crete. He remained at liberty in Crete for 10 months living alone in the mountains until recaptured by 2 Greek policeman. He was a prisoner for the remainder of the war. Enlisted June 1940. Formerly employed as a waiter.
